Frequently asked questions
How do I know I need coaching?
Regardless of whether you are in job search, currently employed, transitioning professionally, or re-entering the job market, coaching offers added advantages for anyone who wants to grow professionally.
What services are offered in individual coaching?
Individual Coaching provides individualized support related to a specific need, including resume review, mock interviews, and career mapping and planning.
Can I request a specific coach to work with?
You may make your coach selection above and click on the button beneath their name to set up your first session. If your desired selection for a coach is unavailable, know that our coaching team has a diverse wealth of experience, and we often leverage the strengths of the entire team to support our clients with specific needs.
How long can I participate in coaching services?
WorkFaith coaches not only provide the necessary tools to obtain employment, but they also coach currently employed clients who may need help landing a promotion or transitioning into a different industry. The time our coaches spend with clients is based on clients' need and willingness to actively engage in the coaching, even beyond employment.
What do I need to best prepare for my coaching sessions?
When attending individual coaching, please come prepared by bringing a notebook and writing utensil to take notes. While we may provide supplemental resources, we do not provide copies of our content.
I have an emergency, and I need to speak with a coach today. Is that possible?
While our goal is to provide quality coaching services in a timely manner, we are only able to provide individual coaching services by appointment only. To schedule and inquire about availability, please send an email to coaching@workfaith.org. You can also contact us by phone at (713) 984-9611. If an emergency resource is needed, please call 2-1-1 for immediate assistance.
